Will Self speaks out about our prison system

Author Will Self appeared on BBC Radio 4's "A Point of View", speaking on the failure of our prisons to rehabilitate prisoners. He voiced his view that convicted prisoners have become a scapegoat for the problems of wider society and despite persuasive cost-benefit analysis, politicians are too afraid to enact real positive change in this arena.
