Competition Strategy for Offenders Services

A competition strategy for the management of nine prisons and the closure of two prison sites has been announced by the UK Ministry of Justice.

The Competition Strategy for Offender Services sets out the ambition for encouraging greater involvement of the private and voluntary sectors in the rehabilitation of offenders to cut re-offending and to improve outcomes and efficiency.
