The Prison Reform Trust has just released it's latest Bromley Briefing Prison Factfile which sets out the current situation of the prison population in England and Wales.
It contains statistics relating to women, ethnic minorities, offenders with learning difficulties and mental health needs as well as information on education and young and older offenders.
